Mojio’s Connected Car Platform Selected as Finalist for Prestigious TU-Automotive Award
The company’s open, scalable and hardware agnostic platform is recognized for creating a two-way bridge between automakers and consumers, delivering secure connected car experiences while harnessing Mojio’s robust data insights to drive the auto industry forward.
June 2, 2017 — Palo Alto & Vancouver — Mojio, the leading open platform for connected cars, is a finalist in the category of Best Aftermarket Telematics Product/Service at the upcoming the 2017 TU-Automotive Awards in Detroit, MI. Trusted by T-Mobile (see SyncUP DRIVE) in the United States and Deutsche Telekom in Europe, Mojio’s secure cloud platform enables automakers, consumers, and ecosystem partners to harness the growing capabilities of big data.
The TU-Automotive Award for Best Aftermarket Telematics Product/Service recognizes the solution that best delivers enterprise benefits to automakers while providing ongoing value to consumers. Mojio’s connected car platform creates a two-way bridge that helps OEMs connect directly with new and existing customers, providing access to valuable insights across three dimensions (behavioral, diagnostic and contextual) of telematics data. It also benefits consumers and small businesses with plug-and-play Wi-Fi hotspots, GPS location services, enhanced vehicle safety and security features, as well as access to an active and growing partner ecosystem. Globally, Mojio expects to have more than 700,000 vehicles connected to its platform by the end of 2017.
“We are honored to be named a finalist in the TU-Automotive Awards,” said Mojio CEO, Kenny Hawk. “Mojio is not only providing the automotive industry’s first open, broadly adopted, cloud platform for connected vehicles, we are also driving the industry forward by turning the promise of big data insights into reality.”
Mojio recently tapped automotive industry veteran, Rich McLeer, as SVP of Automotive to further broaden the platform’s deployment with automotive-specific engagements and partnerships.
“The TU-Automotive Awards are the most prestigious and anticipated awards in the connected car industry,” said Emilie Leblanc, Awards Director. “We attract over 400 nominations from all over the world and recognize companies that are pushing the industry forward through innovation, industry engagement, and quality products and services.”
Award winners will be announced at a pre-conference ceremony that kicks-off the TU-Automotive Detroit Conference and Exhibition on June 6 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Detroit, Michigan. You can visit Mojio at booth A26 during the conference and exhibition.
